Every 4 years, the ISHS working groups of Rootstock Breeding and Evaluation organize a worldwide symposium at which advances in a range of research topics are presented and discussed. This year, the “XII International Symposium on Integrating Canopy, Rootstock and Environmental Physiology in Orchard Systems” will be held in Wenatchee (Washington State), USA.
The contributions will be based on the following topics for all the fruit tree crops: Primary endorser ISHS Division Physiology and Plant-Environment Interactions of Horticultural Crops in Field Systems (DPHY), Orchard and Plantation Systems, Rootstock Breeding and Evaluation, Environmental Physiology and Developmental Biology, Flowering, Fruit Set and Alternate Bearing, Irrigation and Water Relations, Floral Biology in Fruit Trees, Bioregulators in Fruit Production, Modelling in Fruit Research and Orchard Management, Mineral Nutrition of Fruit Crops Secondary endorser ISHS Division Precision Horticulture and Engineering (DENG), Light in Horticulture, Mechanization and sensing, Modelling Plant Growth.
